Former international flight attendant of Japan Airlines (JAL). After obtaining the kikisake-shi qualification (approved by SSI,) she was approved as a sake stylist by the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association. She actively sends information about the appeal of sake and how to enjoy it to people in Japan and overseas, by appearing on various media, making speeches, engaging in the development of sake cups and cosmetic products made from sake.

The impressive Chinese character yanagi (willow) printed on the label is a reproduction of calligraphy by Ono no Tofu, a famous calligrapher in the Heian period. There is a custom from long ago to bring Yanagidaru (a type of horned sake kegs made from willow wood) to a celebration. Because of how the sound of “Yanagidaru” can be interpreted as expressing a wish to keep a lot of joy in the family. Very aromatic and possessing a soft, delicate taste, the aftertaste lingers on even after finishing your cup. It is truly an elegant taste. All aspects of this sake, from its taste to story and label, make it so perfect as a gift that it is said to be the best for drinking in Kyoto.
