Echigo Hatsuume Honjozo Namachozo Sake

Retro sake

Has a unique flavor of namachozo sake, reminiscent of fresh crisp apples. It goes down well and has a sharp aftertaste.

Fresh dry sake

Consistently popular product on sale since 1986. Back then, 300 mL bottles were rare but it was designed to easily consumed at the dinner table. For a fresher taste, we selected namachozo as is little change in quality than namazake.

The bottle gives it a true retro sake look. The taste is crisp and refreshing for a dry sake. Best enjoyed chilled.

Kiminoi Junmai Sake

Kiminoi Junmai Sake

Mild delicious junmai sake

This delicious sake has been made in the Myoko area of Niigata Prefecture as the perfect complement to daily meals. Because of the cold weather and heavy snowfall in Niigata, many local dishes are slightly salty, so the mild aroma and light texture of this acts as the ideal counterbalance. Its taste is strong enough to compete with salty foods, making it easy to drink that next cup alongside any dish.

Sake from a land of heavy snows

Myoko, considered to have particularly heavy snowfall even in the already snowy prefecture of Niigata, provides a superior environment for sake brewing due to abundant groundwater and fertile land as well as minimal temperature variation. This mild delicious junmai sake is made from this wonderful climate and brewed to pair well with the daily meals of local people.

This delicious sake can be served chilled or warmed. Best enjoyed with a meal or as a daily evening drink to relax with.

Kiminoi Yamahai Junmai Sake

Kiminoi Yamahai Junmai Sake

Mellow junmai sake brewed using natural lactic acid bacteria.

This sake, brewed using the natural lactic acid bacteria developed in the Kiminoi Shuzo Sake Brewery, has a mellow yet slightly tart taste and rich voluminous flavor. It has a mild aroma that makes it an ideal complement to meals.

Yamahai sake with a mellow flavor

At the Kiminoi Shuzo Sake Brewery, natural lactic acid bacteria are nurtured in order to generate superior quality sake through their use in the brewing process to produce this elegant Yamahai sake with umami flavors. The mellow flavor and deep rich texture unique to Yamahai sake results in this junmai sake.

Have it warm to enjoy.

This Yamahai junmai sake can be enjoyed chilled, but it is recommended to be consumed warm (kanzake) at a temperature between 40 to 45 degrees Celsius. In the cold of winter, it pairs well with hot pot meals, after which you can mix it with the hot pot soup stock half and half for a divine blend of flavors.
