Taste
Sparkling nigori sake with clean sweetness and crispness
Refreshingly clean and sweet aftertaste with fresh fruit aroma reminiscent of pear and lychee. The cloudy portion gives fullness to the taste.
Concept
Sparkling secondary fermentation in the bottle.
A sparkling sake that contains carbonation created by secondary fermentation after bottling, rather than carbonation added later. This sparkling sake is not too sweet to be served with a meal.
Brewer's recommendations
-
Chill to a crisp
Drink refreshingly chilled to very low, near-freezing temperature. It is also enjoyable to put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes before drinking to freeze it into a slightly sherbet-like state. Although it is generally suited for cold drinking, we also recommend heating it up and having hot sparkling sake during camping and other outdoor activities.
