A Brewing Town Surrounded by Lush Nature
Sasaiwai Sake Brewery is located in Nishikan-ku, a scenic area with expansive beaches, mountains, and crop fields approximately 40 minutes by car from central Niigata. Large numbers of Niigata Prefecture residents come to visit on the weekends. It's also a thriving brewing town home to four sake breweries, three beer breweries, and six wineries, all producing unique beverages.
Vast Cultivation Areas for Vegetables and Fruit Trees
This area is one of Niigata Prefecture's top rice production zones, and there are vast crop fields all around as far as the eye can see. In addition to root vegetables like daikon radish and burdock, fruits such as watermelon, persimmon, and figs are abundantly cultivated as well.
