HONMONO in NINOHE
Ninohe City in Iwate Prefecture is located in the northernmost part of Iwate. It is a land of harsh but beautiful nature and abundant blessings, with technical skills in the hands of the people, millet dishes firmly rooted in daily lives, hot springs that flourish as therapeutic baths, sake still being produced by Nanbu Toji, and lacquerware representative of Japan.

Ninohe Terroir
Everything is linked back to the terroir, from the sake to the vessels. Serve local cuisine on Joboji lacquerware, pair it with sake, and drink the Ninohe sake from a cup made with local lacquerware: this is the Ninohe terroir that ties together all of Ninohe's creations.
